The Company
Reach International is working with this Global Accountancy firm to appoint Senior Accountants to its Brussels, Belgium office. You must be fluent in French/Dutch, with strong knowledge of Belgian GAAP. This is an excellent and unique opportunity to gain a range of experience in a mixed Audit, Advisory, Accounting and Tax role within an international environment.
The Role
- Responsibility for day to day transactions with clients and coaching junior members in an international team
- Assisting Managers with the delivery of accounting and tax services to a portfolio of international clients
- Preparing conversion of accounts from management accounts in US GAAP or IFRS to local GAAP
- Assisting with the preparation of draft tax computations and returns
- Performing month end closing and management reporting
- Undertaking audit, tax and advisory assignments within a variety of client sectors
The Candidate
- At least 2+ years’ experience in an accountancy firm
- Fluent in French and/or Dutch and English
- Experience of Belgian GAAP is essential
- Experience of US GAAP and IFRS is desirable
- Fully qualified (ACCA/ACA/CPA or equivalent) or hold a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in accounting, audit or tax
- EU national, due to immigration restrictions
