The Company
Reach International is working with this Global Accountancy firm to appoint Senior Accountants to its Brussels, Belgium office. You must be fluent in English, with strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS. This is an excellent and unique opportunity to gain a range of experience in a mixed Audit, Advisory, Accounting and Tax role within an international environment.
The Role
- Responsibility for day to day transactions with clients and coaching junior members in an international team
- Assisting Managers with the delivery of accounting and tax services to a portfolio of international clients
- Preparing conversion of accounts from management accounts in US GAAP or IFRS to local GAAP
- Assisting with the preparation of draft tax computations and returns
- Performing month end closing and management reporting
- Undertaking audit, tax and advisory assignments within a variety of client sectors
The Candidate
- At least 2+ years’ experience in an accountancy firm
- Fluent in English
- Experience of UK GAAP and IFRS is essential
- Experience of US GAAP is desirable
- Fully qualified (ACCA/ACA/CPA or equivalent) or hold a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in accounting, audit or tax
- EU national, due to immigration restrictions
